Some lovely black lace in the studio and some faux fur.
Where’s your favorite place in the studio to lounge?
The Blue Witch portrait set is a wrap! Finally this blue and black, lacy witch photoshoot is all edited.
Time to get back into shooting with the studio’s new lens that will hopefully make better use of the small studio space!
Who would love to see more leg? More background? More props and more of a set?
What are your stretch goals in the photo studio, and how, as a photographer and model are you going to work at making it happen?
With a wider lens in this small space, some goals for the studio:
- Build more sets and backdrops with more depth
- Show more body and pose work
- Utilize more elaborate costumes and props
What are you looking forward to in the studio?
What soft gothic beauties have you been dying to embody?
What glow have you been bringing into your life?
What delicate details have you been weaving into your day to day?
Sometimes the best things we can bring into our lives are the things we make habit, bit by bit, and with small changes we make every day.
Positive change has momentum.
So let’s keep creating art and build beauty into our daily lives.
This black lace couture dress is featured over on the Roman Wears blog. Tutus make nearly any dress or lingerie set look so much better.
They’re a great staple for any wardrobe, especially one for photographers and models!
What’s your favorite costume piece in your wardrobe?
Sometimes what we love to see in studio isn’t something that works too well in the real world.
We love magic, odd styles and lots of lashes, but in the everyday, it’s a bit harder to manage.
The Blessed Shadows studio will soon be launching a new blog to help make makeup, fashion, and other forms of creativity more of a habit.
It’ll feature and encourage more frequent play, without the weight of a ‘full-on’ photoshoot. Not every look needs a shoot with my best cameras.
Creativity is magic, even when it’s done on a more ‘casual’ basis.
If you have any suggestions for looks, costumes, ideas, etc, or even cheaper phones with high camera quality to consider, I’d love to hear!
Let’s keep making creativity a habit, and keep weaving everyday magic into our lives.
