Horned Headband Tutorial | Cosplay & Costuming

How to make a horned headband. Subscribe to BlessedShadows on YouTube!

Take thin Horns, add some sturdiness, and attach to a headband in this tutorial for a devilishly good costume. 😈

Tools and supplies:
-Horns
-Felt
-Scissors
-E6000
-Extra, used shopping bags
-Boxcutter
-Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks *be careful not to melt the E6000.

Directions 🦇😈

  1. Cut and remove elastic if there is any. You can save these for later projects.
  2. Note how thin the horns may be. If they’re really flimsy, let’s fix that!
  3. Use a box cutter or similar blade to carefully cut an X on the bottom of the horns.
  4. Cut old, extra shipping bags into 3rds or smaller, and begin stuffing inside the horns. Full all the way to the top so the horns will be firm evenly.
  5. Cut circles out of felt and adhere with E6000. I’ve had little luck with rubber and hot glue, especially when it comes to the task of joining.
  6. Let dry.
  7. Use hot glue to adhere horns to the proper/desired spot on the headband. Hold and let glue cool.
Use E6000 instead if you’d prefer.
  8. You’re done!
Add some extras to your headband if you wish, and go be your devilish self 😈

This past year brought great strides in self-love and body-positivity, indispensable to any artist and lover of life, and definitely necessary for myself as a genderqueer soul.

It also saw the start of several businesses, practices and passions, because WHY WAIT?

The new year in the photo studio is going to bring even more handmade couture, portraits, makeup and artistry.

This is often the time of year that’s the hardest.

The sky is dark, the weather is cold, energy drops, and the holidays are in the air.  It’s often a heavy season that could benefit from more kindness, love, and creation.

But as much as we try to keep creating, being the best, and on be one the move every moment of the day, we need to remember to rest.

The harder seasons are possibly the best times of year for us to relearn how to slow down.

How do you keep your spiritual creativity going?

How do you push through the lulls in the season?
