What are your favorite accessories? Your favorite ways to make a statement? What’s your favorite way to shop small?
Editing portraits, especially camera phone portraits, doesn’t have to be complicated or too time-consuming.
Sometimes it’s just as simple as one or a few favorite apps to get your portrait photography ready to share.
My favorite portrait editing apps:
The more simplified you can make your process, the easier and quicker it’ll be to create and edit beautiful photo sets without having to turn on a desktop and pull out a tablet. With a few apps, you can shoot and edit beautiful portraits on your phone or iPod!
What are your favorite editing apps? How do you streamline your editing process?

Beautiful harness by Charlie’s Revamps.
This sultry red and gold shoot was such a glamorous blast!
This backdrop is one of my favorites, a thrifted blanket that’s quite literally a bed of flowers.
These 1/2-1/2 shoots, where half the photoshoot is taken with an iPod and the other half is photographed with a DSLR have been wonderful. These photo sessions have given an opportunity to better utilize the studio space (with the bed serving as a second backdrop) as well as practice with different equipment.
Gorgeous portraits come from each setup, and it’s been a joy to continue practicing without entirely taking over the studio.
This fantasy photoshoot was such a blast, with the bed of flowers (literally), distressed thrifted book, handmade couture, thrifted lace and butterflies in the hair…
A dream come true!
Spring is here, and hopefully we’re all working hard to be safe.
Whether we’re still working or have been quarantined, let’s keep safe, stay hydrated, and make time to enjoy the start of spring as much as we can.
It’s the beauty of the little things in nature that matter, our chosen families that are at our sides.
Be safe, stay hydrated, enjoy nature.
This is the last of the Pink Blossoms photoshoot, and it was so much fun!
This altered bra was a joy to shoot before listing in the shop, and I can’t wait for more lingerie and couture to photograph!
What’s your favorite part of the creative process? The planning? Inspiration? Creation? Afterglow?
🌸 What pushes you to keep creating?
This beautiful lace bra was so much fun to embellish with flowers and bows for this delicate but playful shoot!
In the studio, for photoshoots, couture and the personal wardrobe, there’s a growing assortment of ribbons, flowers, bows and gems to add onto anything and everything.
How do you like to alter your lingerie? What are your favorite details to add to costumes and couture?
As artists, the truly safe spaces for our work are our websites.
With work being removed, accounts shadow-banned, and pages being deleted and censored, let’s remember to follow our favorite artists’ socials, AND their personal websites/blogs/portfolios.
Blessed Shadows will continue to be a hub for work in the studio, with extra goodies on OnlyFans.
With that said, please also support the studio on FB and IG, and be sure to subscribe here for all content!
